Tawangmangu Bible School, Central Java

The Tawangmangu Bible College is set in the mountains of Tawangmangu, near the city of Solo in Central Java, Indonesia. The Bible college was founded in 1968 by Dal & Dorothy Walker and is now currently directed by Sam and Carol Soukotta, their daughter and son-in-law.

To date, over 3,500 students have graduated from the school. Each year there is an enrolment of between 90 and 140 students. On completion of studies, all students will go into some form of ministry. This may be either spiritual or social. Currently 70-80% of the graduates are still in ministry.

The college offers a two and three year Diploma in Christian Ministry and a four year Bachelor of Theology.

There is a staff of 18 who live on the campus and 17 regular, visiting Bible teachers.
