Generation Ministries
Peter & Bev van der Westhuyzen have trained children's workers in India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, West Malaysia, Sarawak and the Philippines. The demands and the needs are great.
The
pastor of a large Indonesian Church said, "Please come back - we
have 300 Sunday School teachers who have never had any training".
The results of their training are fruitful - for instance in Siliguri (NE India) one of their students started seven Bible Clubs in the area, with more than 150 children attending.
Generation Ministries is initiating training in Nepal, Myanmar, China, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines Indonesia and other nations - many of which are restricted access. Many trainees are deeply inspired to reach children for Christ. Whether it's the group who led 1,000 children to Jesus in the mountains of a restricted access nation, or the interpreter who went home and led 10 neighbourhood children to the Lord, the ripe harvest field of children in being reaped. The team is expanding as National Workers train others.
