Ben and Rachel Brooks, Living Waters Village, West Kalimantan
Ben and Rachel work in Living Waters Village, West Kalimantan, Indonesia on the island of Borneo. They have two children Lydia and Noah and have been in Indonesia since October 2003.
In April 2005 they moved to Bandung, Indonesia on Java to study the formal Indonesian language. They were there for almost six months before returning to Borneo.
In October 2005 Noah was born in Kuching, Malaysia.
They write: "It has been wonderful, challenging and an amazing time to see God move. God loves His children, even the poorest of the poor, the least of the least, He adores:
...to bestow on them
a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and
a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour.
