Herald of His Coming

The UK office of World Outreach is pleased to receive donations for Herald International, a Christian organisation that publishes the 'Herald of His Coming' in over thirty different languages around the world.

Although there is no formal connection between World Outreach and Herald International except that of friendly cooperation towards a common end, a number of National Offices of World Outreach around the world also receive donations for Herald International in their own country.

The 'Herald of His Coming' Christian newspaper is sent free of charge to those who wish to read it. As names and addresses are mailed in, they will mail you the Herald regularly, or send a sample copy inviting you to become a regular reader.

Readers who desire to contribute to the Herald ministries may send donations to the main office in the United States or to one of the local offices listed within the newspaper.

Readers who have not contributed or do not respond in some way within a one year period may be dropped from the mailing list. Herald Ministries need to know that you want to continue to read Herald of His Coming.

If you would like a sample copy, or would like to become a regular reader, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

Alternatively, please mail or telephone the UK World Outreach office with details of your:

  • name and Mr/Mrs/Miss/Dr etc

  • full address and postcode

  • telephone number (if possible)

  • email address (if possible)

together with your instructions, and we will forward your request to Herald International in the U.S.A.

Readers who desire to contribute to the Herald ministries may send donations to their main office in the United States or to one of the national offices listed in the newspaper.

Rôle of the UK World Outreach office.

The UK office of World Outreach is able to receive donations for Herald International in Pounds Sterling and in Euros. Specifically, we are set up to:

  • receive cheques and postal orders, and to bank them for the benefit of Herald International.
  • email the US office with the donor's name and the amount received.
  • email any brief letter (maximum one sheet of A4) addressed to Herald International.
  • email the US office with any address change, or other relevant change of circumstances, notified to us by letter, telephone or email.

Because Herald International will always receipt gifts directly to the donor, the UK office does not issue receipts.

Notes:

Please make out all cheques and postal orders to 'Herald International' so we do not need to return them for amendment.

If you wish to make a gift to both World Outreach and Herald International, please make your cheque out to either, but write clearly on the back of the cheque, or in a brief note, where you want the money to go.

Where you do not specify, World Outreach cheques are credited to World Outreach, and Herald International cheques are credited to Herald International. We always receipt gifts to World Outreach unless you ask us not to.

Once we have a note of your full details, the donor's name and postcode is sufficient to identify you and permit us to communicate with you if there is a problem. A telephone number or email address is especially useful.

Securely-packaged banknotes will be accepted if you need to send them.

You may also donate to Herald Internation using you Credit or Debit Card by clicking on Make a Donation.

We cannot currently accept donations in US dollars. You may send donations in US dollars directly to the US address.

All incoming mail is scanned and sent electronically to the Herald International office in the USA. Therefore anything more than an A4 letter should be mailed direct to them at their US address given below. Nothing will be forwarded by mail.

Standing Orders.

If you give regularly to Herald International and always give the same amount, you may like to consider setting up a Standing Order with your bank.

• You keep full control of your payments.
• You can cancel payments at any time.
• You don’t need to do anything unless you want to change the Order.

If you would like to take out a Standing Order, or if you have any questions, please contact us at the World Outreach UK office (contact details below) or complete this form and return it to the World Outreach UK office.

Gift Aid.

You may be unaware that, if you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK, you are able, by completing a simple declaration, to increase the value of your gifts to Herald International by about 28%.

Indeed, if you pay tax at higher rates, it is even more advantageous to you to use the Gift Aid scheme because you can claim back tax via your tax return, as well as increasing your giving through this scheme.

To take advantage of the scheme, please contact us at the World Outreach office (contact details below). The Gift Aid form is very simple to complete, and when you sent it back to us we will do the rest.

Email addresses
The '@' character within all email addresses given on this web site has been replaced in the text by a graphic to prevent programs that harvest email addresses from the internet gathering these addresses and sending junk mail.

An email address should never contain spaces, and is always case-independent. i.e. it does not matter if you use capital letters. So John.Doe, john.doe, or JOHN.DOE will all work.
