Opportunities to Serve with World Outreach

May, 2009

World Outreach provides short / medium / long term opportunities to serve on different World Outreach fields. We have proved that once you get out into a situation where you discover that you are needed, your whole perspective on life will change.

  • Perhaps you have a gap year and don't just want to wander aimlessly around the world, but want your overseas experience to have a real purpose?

  • Or perhaps you're around forty and feel that your life has become comfortable and safe... and you're in danger of losing the fire that you knew when you were younger.

  • Or you're coming up to your sixties, and have 'enough' for old age. But you're frightened that your life is not going to 'count' when all the reckoning is done.

  • If you think that you can only make a small contribution on the mission field, think again. The skill that you have is desperately needed in developing situations. Make your life count. Don't settle for urban obscurity.

Look through the opportunities, and see where you could fit in. This is a living document and will be updated at intervals.

If you are interested or would like more information, please contact the email address provided beside each entry or David Elliott the Short-Term Teams Co-ordinator on david.elliottworldoutreach.org.sg

Please also draw these opportunities to the attention of friends who, you feel, may be interested.
