Requests for Partnership

Posted July, 2007 [Proposal 2 - April 2007]

James Hudson Taylor 1832 to 1905Hudson Taylor (1832 to 1905) wrote:
"Let us see that we keep God before our eyes; that we walk in His ways and seek to please and glorify Him in everything, great and small.
Depend upon it, GOD's work done in GOD'S way will never lack GOD's supply."

World Outreach is a 'faith mission', and therefore, like Hudson Taylor, looks to God alone to supply everything that is needed to enable the work to be moved forward.

However Hudson Taylor was very active in making known to friends and supporters the needs of the work, the projects and the missionaries, so that God might touch the hearts of those He wanted to become involved.

If we do not not publicise what the Lord is doing through World Outreach, we put obstacles in the way of friends and supporters who would otherwise partner with us in the work of God. In fact we have an obligation before God to tell you what is happening, how we understand that God is moving, and how you may partner together with us.

We believe also that the call to 'go into all the world and to preach the gospel' is to all children of God, irrespective of their circumstances and condition.

The fact is that some of us can GO, but many have to STAY. To publicise the work allows everyone the opportunity to share both in the responsibility, but also in the rewards of the work.

So below, we have produced a list of some of the current needs of World Outreach missionaries and projects. If God impresses you with a need, please follow it up, don't forget about it. Email addresses of missionaries are provided on this website, and they will be very pleased to tell you more about what they are doing, and how best you can partner with them. You are also encouraged to visit them at a suitable time, to see first-hand what they are doing.

The Body of Christ is a family, and thus a real partnership, and we are all invited to become involved through the various gifts that God has entrusted to us. He hopes that we will not bury our gifts, but engage them in His work.

If you would like to make a gift towards any of these needs please contact your local World Outreach office.
